Corica Park Golf Course - North Course

We're playing the North Course at Corica Park in Alameda — and if you haven't seen it since the renovation, you're in for a genuine surprise. Reimagined by Robert Trent Jones II Architects and reopened in full in March 2025, the North is an Australian links-inspired layout built for the ground game: firm, fast fairways, rolling contours, tightly mown surrounds, and sod-walled bunkering that rewards a running approach as much as an aerial one. It's the rare municipal track that asks you to think your way around rather than just hit it high and hope. September on the island is prime time — the fog burns off early, the bay breeze keeps things honest, and the turf is at its firmest and fastest of the year. Bring the putter you trust; you'll be using it from well off the green.
