The highly anticipated Par Royal IV travel weekend for 2024 kicks off Saturday August 10th at the spectacular Grizzly Ranch Golf Club in Portola. This is a new location for Par Royal club, so be sure to let us know what you think!
The travel weekend consists of a tournament Saturday at Grizzly Ranch and Sunday at Old Greenwood (which is a major). You are welcome to play either event or both. Please register for each tournament separately.
Set within a million acres of national and state forestland lies Grizzly Ranch, a community endowed with an expanse of natural beauty – glistening alpine lakes, wild rivers, wondrous valleys, wildlife, trails, and quaint towns. Grizzly Ranch is just one of the many marvels of the Lost Sierra, a region only an hour north of Lake Tahoe. Neighboring the million-acre Plumas National Forest, the course features a sprawling par-72 layout with five sets of tees, generous fairways with wide landing zones, and a mountainous landscape with elevations ranging from 4,800 to 5,400 feet. From the black tees at 7,411 yards, to the forward tees at 5,374 yards, golfers of all levels can enjoy playing a seemingly endless combination of shots.
